FAQs

Please get in touch if you have further questions - I'll be delighted to help you plan your event.

How do I book?

Let me know the date/ time you have in mind, and what you're planning and I'll check my availability.

Where do you perform?

Mostly in village halls, church halls, community centres, and schools. I also perform in family homes - wherever you want!

Can you recommend a venue?

Possibly, yes. There's a list of suitable venues which are local to me, here.

What sort of children's magic do you do?

It depends on the age of the children. But it's always very visual and great fun.

My child is shy and may not want to take part. Does s/he have to join in?

No, it's fine - your child can enjoy the show without coming up to help.

What age range does the magic show suit?

Mostly from 4 to 8. Older children may be more interested in other entertainment. Younger than 4, they may find it hard to remain engaged with so many distractions.

How long do parties last?

It depends what's needed, but typically between 1.5 and and 2 hours, My children's magic show lasts around an hour, and we usually play party games beforehand and then again after the party food until pick-up time. There's a list of what's included on the Parties page.

I have a particular theme in mind. Can you match it?

Yes! I can always create a suitably themed balloon for the birthday child.

My child is scared of balloons. Can you avoid them in your show?

This sometimes happens and it's not a problem. I can avoid using them - just let me know beforehand.

I'm planning a joint party. Is that okay?

Of course. Each child gets their own special moment to celebrate. I make a small extra charge for joint parties (unless it's for siblings).

Do you have insurance? What about a DBS certificate?

Yes to both. I have £10 million public liability insurance.

Can you supply party bags?

No, but I can supply party balloons for every child to take home as a great alternative. These are great fun and environmentally friendly.

Do you deliver balloons?

Yes. There is no delivery charge for balloons which are part of a party or magic show. Local delivery is usually free. Further afield a small delivery charge applies based on travel time: £10 for up to 40 minutes round-trip; £15 for up to an hour; and £20+ for longer journeys.

Are you a real magician?

Yes.
